[Under Construction]Since engineers generally don't like to write resumes or brag about themselves, some of the information here is still sketchy - - but we're working on getting it done!

[Dividing Line Image]

Roger Green

[Mug Shot]

Expertise: Company Founder, System Design, Digital/FPGA/VHDL Design, Printed Circuit Design, Prototype Design, Parts Procurement, System Integration & Test, Technician, Documentation, Contract Management, Business Development, Software, Web Design, Janitor, Any other stuff that has to get done - -

Credentials: MS Systems Management, University of Denver, 1992; BSEE, University of Tennessee, 1976; Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society; Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society

Experience: Roger has over twenty years of experience as a design engineer and team leader in a wide variety of projects, mostly within the aerospace industry.  His career started as a co-op student at NASA, Kennedy Space Center where he developed a strong interest in space programs. After graduation he briefly worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in W. Palm Beach before moving to Harris Electronic Systems in Melbourne, Florida. There he spent 8 years working on a variety of satellite communications projects and developing quite an expertise in high-speed digital system design. Tiring of the Florida climate, he moved to Denver, Colorado to join what is now Lockheed Martin Astronautics. There he has spent 14 years working on a variety of space related hardware designs and enjoyed increasing management responsibilities. His recent efforts have been focused on the implementation of optical processing hardware for space applications. The growing desire to further broaden his expertise and bring it to bear on a wider variety of challenges, coupled with his acquaintance with several other very talented design engineers spawned the birth of B F Systems. Jim Bevier

[Mug Shot]

Expertise: Software Development, System Design, Application Development, Device Drivers, Operating System Development, Compiler Development, Network Administration, Web Design, VRML Development, DirectX Development, Software Conversions, Contract Management, Business Development, Marketing, Documentation

Credentials: BSME, General Motors Institute, 1966

Experience: Jim has over thirty years of experience that encompasses almost anything that is associated with computers and software development. Jim's career began at General Motors where he obtained his engineering degree and got involved in the first use of computers for industrial automation. From there he moved to Information Control Systems and then on to Ford Motor Company where he became "Supervisor of Computerized Processes" and further developed his expertise. Then moving to Florida, he joined Encore Computer Corporation where he got a taste of marketing and customer support before going on to develop the MPX-32 multi-CPU real-time operating system. After tiring of Florida, his expertise then landed him at Denelcor, Inc. in Colorado where he continued his work in multi-processor super-computer development until their demise. (Check out this history of parallel computing). From there, Jim was software development manager for International Software Corporation, where he continued working on operating system modifications and porting of compilers until he struck out on his own with J B Systems in 1990. From there he hasn't looked back. His list of accomplishments reads like a Sears & Roebuck catalog (if you remember those) of software development activities. For all the gory details (and their are lots of them) refer to Jim's complete resume in Word format.

Jonathan Feifarek

[Mug Shot]

Expertise: System Design, Digital/FPGA Design, Firmware, Software Development, Web Design, System Integration & Test, Documentation, Business Development, Inventing, Chief cook and bottle washer for his own business - -

Credentials: Master of Engineering in Engineering Management, University of Colorado, 1992; BSEE, University of Maryland, Cum Laude, 1978; Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society; Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society

Experience: Jonathan has been interested in electronics ever since building his first amateur radio from a kit in the 9th grade. After drafting and labeling wires part-time for Consulting Electronics Engineers while in college, Jonathan went on to work there full-time after graduating. He helped CEE design custom digital systems for COMSAT and ushered them into the world of microprocessors, hand coding their first system. He then started designing digital controllers for the radio surveillance world, working for REGCO, which was "swallowed up" by its mother company RACAL. He then did similar work at the Watkins Johnson company's Telecommunications Group in Gaithersburg, Maryland where he wrote his own operating system for a real-time Direction Finding system. He got involved with Digital Signal Processing design while starting to supervise other engineers. He became head of the Tactical Receiver Digital Processing group (the name was larger than the group) before feeling the call of Colorado's mountains and wilderness. Near Denver, he started working in aerospace at Martin Marietta, now part of Lockheed Martin, continuing to straddle the fence between hardware and software development work. After 11 years of proposing and designing instruments to fly to other worlds (and witnessing numerous mergers), Jonathan left the large corporate atmosphere to start his own one-man operation named Beyond the Horizon Enterprises. He has done FPGA design and Web site coding, but has spent most of the past three years on proprietary inventions, performing numerous patent searches. His current passions lie in the areas of Reconfigurable Computing (see related links) and Evolvable Hardware which are beginning to create a world that he envisioned a decade ago. For more details, refer to Jonathan's complete resume in Word format.
